The Well Statement Regarding COVID-19

Philippians 4:6, Ephesians 6:18,  2 Chronicles 7:12, Jeremiah 33:3, I Kings 18:36-37

God has consistently shown us in scripture that prayer matters and that He works through prayer.
In everything you are facing in this hour, let prayer be your default over fear.
Pray from a position of a son/daughter and expect God to use this hour to reveal Himself through signs and wonders and to use us as His representative on earth to make His name known.

2 Chronicles 7: 14, Luke 1:52, 1 Peter 5:6-7, James 4:6, Ephesians 4:2, Luke 14:11

The Word is consistent that God lifts up the HUMBLE. In this season, we are hearing to bow low. We ask you to use this time to draw near to the Lord in humility. This is a time to get on our face before the Lord.

Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 1, Matthew  4:4, Ephesians 6:17

What you feed will grow. In this hour, feed your soul with the word of God that promises to bear fruit in ALL seasons. Make sure you are getting more Word that produces life than news that produces fear.

Psalm 23, Matthew 11:28-30, 1 Corinthians 14:4

It’s important to take care of your body to ward off sickness. Tired, weary, and stress hinder our immune systems. Rest, hydration, sunshine, vitamin C, and prayer can help cover your immune system. Praying in the spirit edifies your body!

James 1:5, James 3:17, Proverbs 4:6

To say we are covered in the blood and not honor health precautions right now is foolish. While we do not fear, we are asking you to take every health precaution necessary to protect your family. As your pastors, we are leaning into God’s wisdom to protect our church family and also seeking wisdom from overseers, other pastors, and elders and spiritual leaders of this house.

2 Timothy 1:7, Luke 10:19, Isiah 54:17, Isaiah  59:19

We recognize in this hour that fear is more endemic than a virus. Knowing this is a spiritual battle not only a physical one, we must be wise to understand that fear is of the enemy and we will not partner with FEAR. Faith is a gift of God (1 Corinthians 12:9) and is also built upon hearing the Word (Rhema) of God (Romans 10:17). Ask God for faith in this hour, listen to people of FAITH, seek His voice (Rhema), and take in His Word like a prescription. Know that we will most likely have this virus in our area, and while we take it seriously, we also recognize that a large majority are recovering.

1 Corinthians  12:27, Ephesians 4:12-14, John 21;16

While we are thankful - in this hour - for the technology that makes spreading the gospel and encouragement readily available, we know that technology cannot replace people in our lives. We have consistently spoken for the need to be connected to the body. While we desire to help all people get connected to resources, as your pastors, our sheep are our first priority. It will be vital to be connected to one another during this season to know needs of our house. For this  reason, all Pastors, Staff, Elders, and Spiritual Leaders will be assisting us in pastoring smaller groups of people to assure connection remains. Please be aware that after this passes, the church will look differently as a whole, and it is expected to be a greater challenge to move people from the ease of technology in their homes back into the body. This is subtle attack against the gathering together of God’s people, and why will encourage smaller gatherings when possible. We are committed to reaching out to those who are immune compromised to encourage and connect as much as possible.

Hebrews 10: 25, Acts 2:42-47, Acts 4: 32-35, Matthew 18:20
Let us not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

As your pastors, we are in the most challenging season we have faced  trying to honor guidelines from our government for the safety and well-being of all people, while standing on the Word of God that says in times like these we should meet ALL THE MORE. We are looking for creative ways to gather the body including using our parking lot for drive in church services. We will move Wednesday nights to virtual gatherings over zoom and group phone calls. We believe this is not  just a good idea, but a commissioning to make a stand in FAITH in this hour.  We are not a traditional church, but a church with a mandate to revive the body of Christ in a way that has regional/national impact. We are listening and praying for wisdom. We recognize this is a fluid situation. We will continue to  stream our services on Sunday mornings, and we will start live streaming a short message on Wednesday nights starting March 25th at 6pm to be shared in your homes.

Malachi 3:10, Acts 2:42-47, 2 Corinthians 9:6-11

It is important that after this crisis is over that The Well is poised to do its greatest ministry.

As our church is still in its infant stages, we are going to need our members to give sacrificially yet cheerfully. You can continue to give to The Well by mailing your checks to 604 South Magnolia Street, McComb, MS 39648. You can give online through our website or The Well McComb app. You can also text to give at 84321.

We appreciate your support of this house during this pivotal time. We pray God brings in streams of income to our church and church family to not only sustain us, but that we may be a blessing to those in need.

The Well Daily Declaration

Come into agreement with us daily!

I Declare that the Lord protects me and my family from all sickness and diseases including the Coronavirus.
“The Lord will protect you from all sickness.” Deuteronomy 7:15

I Declare that the Lord blesses my bread and water, and takes away sickness because I worship Him.
“Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be upon your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you…” Exodus 23:25

I Declare by faith in the name of Jesus that I am made strong. My immune system is strong. My preventative wisdom is strong.
“By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is in Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you all can see.” Acts 3:16

I Declare that my mind is in perfect peace. I desire to walk in the supernatural peace of God because I embrace His truth and trust in Him. I declare that thoughts of fear will not circle through my mind. I also declare that I will not be compulsive in my thoughts regarding the Coronavirus.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3

I Declare that I will not be anxious. I refuse to carry the weight of fear and anxiety, and agree with the lies of the enemy, misinformation, or human panic. I choose to stand on the Word of God and walk in supernatural faith.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

I Declare that just as the light stayed on in the land of Goshen, the light will stay on in the land of Mississippi, in The Well Church, and in the homes of all of our people.
“No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.” Exodus 10:23

I Declare that the Lord will deliver us from the snare of the fowler and this deadly plague. We will not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the calamity that destroys at noon, because God is our refuge and fortress in whom we trust, and we dwell in the shelter of the Most High and abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.” Psalm 91:1-3

I Declare that we are unified in this house and we command the blessing of unity over our church and homes.
Psalms 133

I Declare that the Lord consecrates this house as a house of sacrifice. His eyes are opened and attentive to the prayers offered in this place-The Well. We receive the forgiveness for our sins already paid by the blood of Jesus, and our land is protected from the pestilence. We humble ourselves, pray, seek HIS face and turn from our wicked ways knowing God hears us and will respond.

“I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices. When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. As for you, if you walk before me faithfully as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws, I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’ But if you turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.” 2 Chronicles 7:12-20

I Declare that the window of heaven will open over our church-The Well- and our homes in a way that we cannot contain it so that we may meet the needs of our people, because we have trusted you with the tithe.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10
